On the 9th of July 2016 I did a tour with Midhat, that comprised ascending Maglic via the route called "The Postmans Route". From the summit we followed the Ridge towards "The Montenegro Maglic" from which the lake of Trnovac can be seen.

then followed a long ascent to the lake where we had lunch, before hiking back through the forest to our car.

I can strongly recommend this day trip to anyone who loves the mountains. The scenery is breathtaking, the scramble up to the summit is fun and perfectly safe using harness and carabiners klicked to the steel wires at the steepest sections. The scenery around the lake is lovely, and bears witness to the pristine nature of this remarkably beautiful country. You could not get a better mountain guide than Miidhat. A true professional in every way, he makes you feel comfortable in every situation. Always willing to share his knowledge of the region, he manages to convey to you his love for the mountains.
